A. We use only Premium Belgian Couverture Chocolate with the option of milk, dark, white or coloured to suit the theme of the event.
A. Couverture Chocolate is a high quality Belgian Chocolate that contains a high grade of cocoa butter, approximately 32-39%. Finger Licking Chocolate uses Couverture Chocolate with a cocoa butter content of 52%. The higher percentage of cocoa butter, combined with the processing, gives the chocolate a fantastically delicious flavour and allows the chocolate to flow through the fountain more luxuriously, creating the ‘WOW’ factor among your guests.
A. Finger Licking Chocolate's pricing includes 10kg of Premium Belgian Chocolate for our large fountain, which is the minimum required to run the fountain efficiently. This will easily serve between 150-200 guests. Additional chocolate will be supplied to commensurate with the chosen package.
A. Absolutely Not! A representative from Finger Licking Chocolate will do all the work for you. We will arrive at your special event 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The fountain will then be carefully set up and the chocolate will be melted and flowing smoothly so your guests will smell the wonderfully sweet aroma of our Premium Belgian Chocolate when they begin to arrive. Finger Licking Chocolate will clean up and dismantle the chocolate fountain at the contracted end time.
A. Dry Hire is the ‘no frills’ of the fountain trade where the customer (more often someone in the catering trade) requires the use of the fountain without the need of dips, attendant and all other necessary accessories that would otherwise go with the full packages. The price of chocolate is included in the package.
A. Our package includes use of the chocolate fountain for up to 3 hours. If you need the fountain for more than 3 hours, we will gladly accommodate your request for an additional €50.00 an hour.
A. Just about anything you can imagine. Finger Licking Chocolate suggests you avoid dipping items which crumble easily such as pound cake and angel food cake, which will interfere with the smooth flow of thechocolate. However, you can still use them by simply using a scoop to pour the chocolate over the items. Frequently requested dipping items include strawberries, pineapple, apple slices, oranges, pretzels, marshmallows, cream puffs, graham crackers, cookies, melon, rice crispy treats, bananas, and brownies.
A. Finger Licking Chocolate is a full service rental entity which strives to work intimately with our clients to provide all requested dipping items prepared and professionally presented at your event. We are able to also provide a service which allows for the client to provide their desired dipping items.
A. Yes, as a full service professional, our service includes an elegantly presented Finger Licking Chocolate complete with an illuminated ambient table with spot lights. Additional decorations can be accommodated and worked into the theme event. Our clients are welcome to provide any additional decorations if they so desire.
A. Yes, depending on conditions such as power source and weather. We use wind guards with our fountains which prevent little flying insects that are likely to be attracted to the fountain and also protect the fountain from the wind which may disrupt the chocolate flow. A. Yes, we require a reservation, a signed contract and a €150.00 deposit at the time of booking. Cancellation fees apply if booking is cancelled less than one week before the event. Reservations are limited and are on a first come-first served basis.
